Anyone considering buying this netbook, Samsung N20, it’s very good. Tools needed: small screwdriver, I used one on a small Gerber multi-tool. 1. Earth your hands by touching something metal, a radiator or something. 2. Unplug power cable and clip out laptop battery. 3. Look at what screws need to be taken out so you can remove the cover to get to the RAM memory. 4. Un-screw the cover, and un-clip the RAM already installed by clipping back the 2 metal clips on each side. The RAM will flip up. Pull the RAM card out straight. 5. Get your new RAM and make sure you insert it the right way, so the notch is lined up. Push in slightly at angle firmly until you feel it click in. Then push the RAM down into the laptop, it will clip in place. 6. Put laptop cover back on, insert screws. See the Entire Story

In this time of high technology, a laptop or desktop computer is an essential device we cannot do without in our homes, offices or schools. Computers make our lives a lot easier and faster. It is, therefore, inherent that we use computers whose specifications indicate that it is a fast computer. Nobody wants to deal with the hassles of working with an old computer. However, your fast computer can quickly become a slower computer due to the type of your usage. These are just a couple of of the couple of factors that can make your computer run slower: Excessive files, particularly videos, have been stored in the computer, thus there is not enough hard disk space. There are left over programs installed and bad files stored. This can include very bad viruses, spyware, and key loggers. There is corrupt data stored. You may have missed out on current Windows updates and you may be using antiquated drivers. You commonly forget to shut down your computer, thus it is overheating. The Operating System (OS) you have installed is corrupt. Your computer has bad hardware. When your computer starts running slow, refer to the computers’ “help” section of your operations manual or try some of these troubleshooting solutions to make it a faster computer. These answers are for users of Microsoft Windows. Please note that exact steps can vary depending on the version of Windows you are using: Reboot Your Computer Before troubleshooting , reboot your computer. Rebooting or restarting often fixes unusual issues of your computer. To reboot, simply click start, shutdown and choose the restart option. See the Entire Story

I grew up in a time when your auto mechanic had to get under the car, look in the hood, and generally get dirty as they try to find what’s bothering your car. Today however, all they do first is to plug some gear into the car, open their laptop, and they begin to check different aspects of the car. Such advancement. Go for a music concert and you would find the Engineer with his laptop used for managing the sound, the Engineer from the power company checks for problems with what? His/her laptop. I am sure you get where I am going with this so I would just stop with the examples. How do these people move their laptop around without damaging it? Using a good laptop case is the obvious answer. Almost every piece of digital equipment now comes, as standard, with a variety of digital cameras and videos to record our everyday lives, so the question will digital cameras as a single piece of technical equipment be obsolete is a good one. Do we need to carry a smart phone or an iPhone 4 with us when out and also carry a camcorder, a camera, a GPS or even a note pad? The answer is probably no because the ever increasing range of gadgets now all include a camera and as life gets busier, the less we can carry the better. See the Entire Story
